The Journey
Born on August 6, 1983, in Lagos, Nigeria, Uzor Arukwe comes from a family of ten. His passion for storytelling led him to pursue a career in acting, beginning in the early 2000s with a role in the Nigerian TV series "Flatmates."
After completing his education at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Port Harcourt, Uzor earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Abia State University. He later furthered his education with a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Calabar.
His breakthrough came with his portrayal of Inspector Sam in the 2017 film "Sergeant Tutu," which established him as one of Nollywood's most versatile actors. Over the years, Uzor has featured in over 200 movies and TV shows, working with some of the industry's most visionary directors.
Beyond acting, Uzor also works at Fitness and Sports Solutions Limited. He is married to Barbra Boyd-Arukwe, the Head of Human Resources at the same company, and they have a daughter together. Known for keeping his personal life private, Uzor focuses on delivering exceptional performances that resonate with audiences worldwide.
